CAPACS Display Table

ASA has assigned Display Table 2 to the Commission to display CAPACS literature, brochures, and informational materials at the 114th ASA Annual Meeting in New York City. The display table is located on the Second Floor of the New York Hilton Midtown (1335 6th Ave, New York, NY 10019). For convenience, a floor plan for the display table area is linked here.

CAPACS Board Members should use SignUpGenius to enter times, in increments of one hour or more, on days and dates when they will be available to monitor the CAPACS display table at ASA, and answer questions about CAPACS accreditation from inquiring institutions and other interested sociologists and third parties. Please note the following ASA Guidelines:

  • ASA is not responsible for setting up or monitoring your materials. However, there will be a security guard in place to cover the general area.
  • Please be mindful of your table space and keep your materials in your space only; as others also have materials to display as well.
  • Table attendants need to register for the meeting.
  • If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact ASA personnel who will be staffing the ASA Meeting Information Desk.
